As a manufacturer and a contractor primarily in the mining, power generation, and press industries, Warfab provides a wide array of services to its customers. It is every employee’s duty and responsibility to follow the rules, regulations, and safety practices that have been established for Warfab and employees will strictly follow our customer's safety practices, rules, and regulations. It is the responsibility of the Safety Director of Warfab to obtain and transmit a customer safety program to our employees and the immediate supervisor's responsibility on the work site to enforce the program.



The concept that supervision is only responsible and accountable for work performance and production, and that the safety department is responsible for accident prevention and investigation, is not acceptable if we believe that skill, craftsmanship, and safety are one in the same. The management of accident prevention/control must be executed coincident with management of production.

All accidents are preventable provided cause or conditions that may lead up to an accident is recognized, evaluated, and controlled in time to prevent an incident. The extension of hazard recognition, evaluation, and control through the eyes and action of motivated employees is the most effective accident prevention system. The program's intent and purpose is to reach this ideal situation. The bottom line is that accident prevention is best practiced where the action is.

This program is established to insure that the Warfab policy on safety and risk management is enforced in compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and other applicable statutes and is intended to be implemented to protect employees and company property against bodily harm or material damage in the broadest sense of the word.
